Here is a Fashion Show That me and my friend Rachael did from the making a fashion show with your friends idea! Hopefully you like it, and get a few giggles. :)

Exercise Your Designs

Here is a little activity to get you going and designing. Draw Just an outline, quick sketch of a family member or friend that id there and draw something silly on them. You can make a silly hat or some funky shoes.

Another one is to get together with some friends and get out all your clothes and shoes and have a FASHION SHOW. I would record it and then you can watch it later. Turn up the volume and do the catwalk.

Let Model's be the limit?

Many people stick to model's when it comes to sketching because they work nice with clothes, and I personally prefer them, but why should you stop there? Design clothes for animals! Dogs, cats, horses, even cows! Just draw like any other design you draw and draw it on an animal. This is creative and shows that models are NOT the limit.

Mix it up!

If you've got all your Sketching down but can't figure out what patterns or colors to do, mix it up put two totally different patterns with two totally different colors. Then add extras things to coordinate it up. And trust me, it will all come together in the end.

If you are ever having trouble thinking up something to design, do what I do. Flip on the television and watch T.V. . This will help you think up something to design. When you're watching a show you can look at all the clothes the characters are wearing and design your sketch off of that. This also works with books, and magazines!

Don't be afraid to go OUT of this world

Don't be afraid to design something that is outrageous just because you think nobody else will like it. Just design something that is TOTALLY you!
